U.FL connectors on the backside of the board for the WiMax antennas. Are external antennas an option? Might help fill in some of the holes in the CLEAR network. Do you think the active antenna is switched in software?
I’m not sure. The plastic case has plugs in holes that cover-up the antenna connectors. So, it seems that it’s designed to support an external antenna.
Have you seen any hints of antenna selection while poking around with root access? I am tempted to hook up a 2.6GHz antenna and see what happens.

I’ve focused on figuring out how firmware updates work/partitioning of the flash chip/etc.
